This set of 4 items by Tim Holtz are perfect for sand tray. Set includes broom, cauldron, and 2 gravestones/grave markers/tombstones.
Cauldron:
The definition of a cauldron is a very large iron pot that is used for boiling or cooking, or a situation where there are a lot of strong and usually angry emotions. A caldron on a campfire. noun. In stories and fairy tales, a cauldron is used by witches for their spells . If you describe a situation as a cauldron, you mean that it is unstable or dangerous .

Gravestones:  They (the dead) mean something; a virtue the person exemplified, a value they held dear, or a nod to how they earned their living. A revelation about your ancestor’s life may just be right in front of you, hidden in plain sight. In the realm of tombstone meanings, symbols portraying the eternal bond of love are both poignant and powerful. These intricate carvings are timeless representations of enduring connections beyond the confines of life.

Broom: Brooms are useful storytelling symbols that serve double duty — they are a symbol of female oppression (tied to the house and the drudgery of housework) but also, by leap of imagination, turn into a vehicle by which to escape. Brooms may keep a woman housebound, but also afford the imaginative freedom to fly.
