A beautiful & detailed African 5” statue.
The Yoruba god Shango is an Orisha associated primarily with dance, virility, lightning, and thunder. He is also known as Chango or Xango. In addition to the variations in the spelling, there are also sometimes variations in the stories about Shango through centuries of oral tradition.
Orishas are spirits that play a key role in the Yoruba religion of West Africa and several religions of the African diaspora that derive from it, such as Cuban, Dominican and Puerto Rican Santería and Brazilian Candomblé
The Orisha Statues are crafted with polyresin, and painted accoding to the orishas colors and attributes.
